İris’ practice focuses on providing legal consultancy relating to corporate, commercial matters, corporate restructuring, joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions. She advises foreign clients operating in the Turkish market and local subsidiaries of foreign multinationals with respect to their day to day corporate and commercial activities including their corporate maintenance work. She has also heavily advised regulated companies in Turkey. She has represented clients in both buy-side and sell-side of mergers and acquisitions transactions, where she has structured and negotiated contracts.
İris is also experienced in structured finance, banking and finance law, capital markets and securitization. She was involved in securitization projects and various structured finance transactions of local and international financial institutions including the establishments of various local covered bonds program, MTN program and mortgage covered bond program in Turkey.
